WHERE IN THE WORLD IS MONTY ROBERTS!?

WHERE IN THE WORLD IS MONTY ROBERTS!?

ROBERTS ANNOUNCES HIS 2011 TRAVEL SCHEDULE THAT STARTS IN DUBAI

Solvang, CA (December 31, 2010) – Monty Roberts regularly announces his whereabouts with his friends on his Facebook page and his website but still the questions come back. “But when are you coming to Oregon again?” or “Why didn’t you come to South Africa this year?!” As yet unable to clone himself successfully, he has been on the road since his first book, published in 1996. The Man Who Listens to Horses spent 58 weeks on the New York Times Bestsellers list and was a fulcrum in Roberts’ life, changing forever his plans to quietly train horses at his Flag Is Up Farms in Solvang, California.

More active than most people in their 20s, Monty continues to make great strides to fulfill his life’s goal “To leave the world a better place than I found it, for horses and for people, too” and his work ethic seems to be making a difference in those lives. Equestrian groups and event promoters compete for Roberts’ full calendar dates. Roberts has written eight books and created his EQUUS Online University in an effort to satiate the thirst for knowledge of his training concepts, unable to physically be in every part of the world. The internet is helping. He can also be found regularly on HRTV (US) and H&C TV (UK) assisting owners with their horses and their issues.

Roberts’ year 2011 will start in Dubai with a visit concerning his, and his wife Pat’s, Willing Partners™ Program. Monty will then be back in California for two Riding with Respect clinics on his Flag Is Up Farms. In between those two clinics he will take a quick promotional trip to Sao Paulo, Brazil. February will find Roberts in the United Kingdom for a three city tour with a side trip planned for Germany to work with Thoroughbred racehorses.  March will find Monty in Brazil for his second event there in the past year. In April Monty will perform in stadiums in four Austrian cities. He has a tentative date in Ireland as well, following his well-attended event in August 2010 at the Royal Dublin Show.

May 2011 will find Roberts back on Flag Is Up Farms for another Riding with Respect Clinic and private corporate coaching.  On June 4, Monty will host a Ride for the Mustangs to help achieve a world record. June,  July and August are set aside for filming television episodes and EQUUS Online University lessons as well as Roberts’ annual Monty’s Special Training attended by students that have in the past come from all corners of the world. The international mix of students is what encourages Roberts that his life’s goal is gaining momentum. More demonstration dates for Monty are being added for the last quarter of 2011 at the time of this writing.

MONTY ROBERTS AVAILABLE FOR SELECT INTERVIEWS:

Horse Sense and Soldiers recently aired on Discovery Military highlighting the therapeutic effect that horses and Monty Roberts’ Join-Up® have on PTSD.  The New York Times bestselling author and world-renowned horse trainer Monty Roberts is available for interviews during his appearances at Equine Affaire Massachusetts and Cowboy Christmas Las Vegas, and other significant events.

MONTY ROBERTS first gained widespread fame with the release of his New York Times Best Selling book, The Man Who Listens To Horses; a chronicle of his life and development of his non-violent horse training methods called Join-Up®. Monty grew up on a working horse farm as a firsthand witness to traditional, often violent methods of horse training and breaking the spirit with an abusive hand. Rejecting that, he went on to win nine world’s championships in the show ring . Today, Monty’s goal is to share his message that “Violence is never the answer.” Roberts has been encouraged by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as well as the ASPCA “Founders” award and the MSPCA George T. Angell Humanitarian Award. He recently launched his Equus Online University ; an interactive online lesson site that is already being considered the most effective educational tool for horsemen on the web.

Join-Up philosophies can be seen at work with both humans and horses across the world, from farms to major corporations. To learn more about Monty Roberts or the many applications of his Join-Up training methods, visit http://www.montyroberts.com or contact debbie@montyroberts.com 949-632-1856
