On March 21, 2012 Monty was recognized by the Discovery Science Center of Southern California for his spirit of scientific inquiry and for his contributions in fostering a world of respectful communication. His presentation entitled The Science of Communication was hosted by Elizabeth and Tom Tierney of Coto de Caza, California.
