Just a quick question, why is it that you only put QH's and paints in your Willing Partners program? Not everyone rides those breeds, and have you ever considered Arabians, Tb's or Warmbloods?

Thanks Michelle

Hi Monty,
my 13 year old daughter introduced me to your wonderful work, she has spent countless hours listening to your training videos on YouTube. She has spent the last two years taking riding courses in jumping and is doing well. 20 years ago I had a quarter horse that I used to do pleasure riding and gymkhana with on an amateur level for a 10 year period. Now, that my daughter is doing well , I'll be getting back into the saddle (I sold my sport motorcycle) along with my daughter and we are going to go into endurance amateur racing. for the last 3 years, I have been helping out with my daughter on a farm where they breed Canadian horses here in southern Quebec. The horses are bred mainly to conserve and maintain the breed purity because the breed itself is threatened. These horses ''the little iron horse' are gentle, tough, hardy, hardworking and can be used in riding , endurance, driving and dressage. The owner has two 32 month old geldings that were born on the farm, but havent sold yet. My daughter has been playing around with one of these beautiful colts since he was a baby. This week she did his first join up and it went so well, just like in your video..the horse is amazing, and eager to learn. We are working on his ground work too and my daughter does all this by spending hours watching your training videos..she amazes me, only 13 years old!! Last night, she did the join up and he wore a saddle pad for the first time..! I gather by the end of november she will be riding him..he listens so well to her. I am negociating to buy the horse for her and eventually, I will get another horse on the farm that Ive had my eye on, a 5 year old Canadian brood mare that I fell in love with last year..she too is untrained, kept in the pasture with the rest of the herd..but she is so perfectly conformed, and has a beautiful character and I feel she would make an excellent riding horse too like the colt my daughter is training how. all this is because of the work you do in training that has given me the bug to get back on the horse and share the experience with my daughter, thank you Monty!!!
